Short Bio

meHi, my name is Lincoln Souza Rocha. I’m a professor at the Department of Computing in the Federal University of Ceará and also an associate researcher at GREat research group. Prior this, until 2014, I was an Assistant Professor in the Software Engineering course at Quixadá Campus in the same institution. I received my D.Sc. (2013) and M.Sc. (2007) degrees in Computing Science from Federal University of Ceará. My main research area is Software Engineering and its applicability to other research fields. In this site you will find some professional information about my research and me. So, feel free to take a look. This is my CV (pt-BR) in the CNPq Lattes Platform.

Research Topics

My main research field is Software Engineering itself, but I try to apply Software Engineering methods, techniques, and tools to address software-related problems in other research fields, such as: Mobile and Context-Aware Computing, Ubiquitous Computing, Mobile Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things. My current research interests are (in alphabetical order):

  • Context-Aware Exception Handling
  • Context-Aware Testing for Sef-Adaptive Systems
  • Dynamic Software Product Lines
  • Energy Consumption in Mobile Applications
  • Offloading in Mobile Cloud Computing
  • Sotware Architecture Conformance Checking
  • Software Evolution and Self-Adaptation

A complete list of my publications can be found at Google Scholar, DBLP, and Research Gate. Feel free to contact me if you want some of my papers that you could not find on-line.
